This past weekend, 22 of our club and committee members travelled down to Cork to compete in our first ever Intervarsity competition. We wanted to put our best foot forward for our first nationals, and we did just that; With 5 golds, 5 silvers, and 2 bronze medals, we took home the win and were crowned 2025 university national champions. Sing like nobody is watching!That's right we're doing Karaoke night at the Scholars Club on Monday the 24th of March at 7pm. This will be a night for socialisation, fun, drinks and of course singing in front of your peers rather than stabbing them like we usually do. Last weekend, UL Archery sent a team of 21 archers to the Mardyke Arena for NSIC (National Student Indoor Championships) 2025. The event, hosted by UCC, included qualification rounds, head-to-head matches, and team shoots across Compound, Recurve, and Barebow categories. Another busy weekend from our UL Wolves Swimmers! The weekend kicked off in Douglas at the Sundays Well Masters Gala. We had PBs and Podium finishes all round. With 11 gold medals coming home, it was a fantastic weekend for all who represented the wolves. UL Swim Club skipped the January blues by jetting off to sunny Torremolinos for our annual foreign training camp.  We trained in Piscina Municipal Virgin Del Carmen, a state of the art 50m pool just a short walk away from our seaside hotel.We were put through our paces from technical swims to time trials. We will compete with other Enactus universities from the UK and Ireland to make the Top 16. On November 17th, we set out with a goal to lift 1 million kilograms in 12 hours to raise money for mens mental health. The event was a great success and we managed to raise over €1,100 for a great cause.
