About GAA Club

It’s with great excitement and pleasure that the UL GAA Club welcomes all new students to the University of Limerick and more specifically, the University of Limerick GAA Club. UL GAA is one of the largest and most successful Clubs in the University with 18 teams participating in Hurling, Football, Camogie and Ladies Football. UL GAA Club is coming off the back of a successful season across all four codes.

Who can join ?? We support most levels of participation with a common aim of developing and improving performance. We pride ourselves on having some of the best coaching and managements in place to better aid our teams to perform to their best. All codes have teams competing at Fresher, Intermediate and Senior grades, so there is a grade to suit YOU. Please note however that we do not have a complete beginners team.

For the elite player, those wishing to make their mark on prestigious and high profile competitions such as Fitzgibbon, Sigerson, Ashbourne and O Connor Cups then UL GAA Club will provide you with the opportunity.

So how do I get involved ?? To fully activate your membership, you must pay your membership fee which covers your GAA Insurance for the year. This must be paid prior to training or competing for the college.

1. Register on ulwolves.ie AND then request GAA membership. Fill out the form. Make sure you opt in for club emails as this is how you will be contacted about trials/ training etc. If you have a medical condition then you will need clearance from your GP before you can register.

2. Pay your registration fee-see below. • The registration of members will be done online this year. The cost for  membership is €25. Make sure you sign up to receive club emails in your preferences. This is how you will be contacted about trials and trainings etc.

When you have the payment made and your GAA membership on wolves is “pending” your account will be activated (during office hours).
