"The Novice Rowing Programme is suitable for complete beginners to rowing who are in UL for the entire academic year. Participants will begin to learn the rowing technique on the rowing machines and in the indoor rowing tank before taking to the water to learn to row. All novice rowers will be invited to compete with UL Rowing Club at plenty of events this year, including the National Varsity Championships this April - UL Rowing Club are the reigning national champions in the Women's Novice Quad, and hope to build on this success in 2024!"
