My yoga practice is based on Navakara?a Viny?sa, a strong and dynamic style that flows with the breath. Each sequence is designed to challenge your strength, flexibility, and control, creating a powerful practice that also encourages deep awareness. Navakara?a isn’t just about the poses it’s about moving with intention, building energy, and feeling both empowered and grounded. It’s an energizing practice that will push your limits and help you connect more deeply with your body and mind.

This short workshop introduces you to the Sounds of Yoga - the language of sanskrit - the language in which all the yogic texts were composed. Sanskrit is the mother language of english. However, it is not just a language, each letter holds a unique resonance, a sonic wisdom that connects us and reconnects us to our true nature, inviting us back to wholeness.
I will share the story of the origin of sanskrit, why it came into being, how it can deeply affect us. We will explore together the sounds of this sacred language and some well known and often misunderstood and mispronouned sounds and mantras.
You will not be asked to sound on your own and you do not need any singing or chanting experience. All are welcome. Please bring a mat and cushion to sit on.
Please note: workshop must be booked in advance on wolves.
It can be paid via revolut or paypal prior to the workshop or alternatively cash (3e). If you wish to pay cash please bring exact amount as we don’t carry change.

Chanting/Kirtan its joyful way of unwind the mind and body and engage with something little untraditional, however in something that exist for very long time in Eastern Yoga practice!
“Indian Harmonium will be played and we learn and sing very simple chants together, most of which are in the Sanskrit language. Most have only a line or two and it’s the act of repeating these lines for five minutes or so that can have a wonderful meditative affect on us. There is also often a devotional nature to these however it is not religion specific, for example some chants may be in praise of Mother and this can be any form of mother e.g. mother earth, Christian mother etc.”
The workshop will be lead by our amazing guests teacher Fran!
OPEN TO ALL LEVELS, no previous experience needed!
PLEASE NOTE: this is paid workshop (3 e per person) which you can either pay in cash ( have exact amount) or transfer to us via revolut or paypal @ulyogasoc ( add your name to the payment).
