On a cold and wet Saturday morning, 8 volunteers from the Outdoor Pursuits Club (OPC) collaborated with Mountain Meitheal's Western branch at the Carran Loop in the Burren. Various trail conservation tasks were carried out with great skill and enthusiasm, including installing waymarkers, updating signage and cutting back overgrown trees and bushes.

The OPC are really grateful to Anne and all the other volunteers from Mountain Meitheal West for facilitating an enjoyable day of volunteering in the great outdoors. It was a superb opportunity to improve local outdoor amenities and meet a friendly group of like-minded individuals.

The OPC are regularly involved with outdoor volunteering - check out the weekly email and Whatsapp group for future collaborations with Mountain Meitheal!
