?                                            Women's Only Self Defense Seminar

In week two of the first semester ULBJJ held our own Women's only seminar to try encourage women, who are underrepresented in the sport, to take part and enjoy the finer things in life, like choking your friends. The aim of the seminar was to show the girls in UL that we will support them in BJJ and help them improve their skills in a welcoming environment. As such we had one of our existing female members take over the coaching for that night, guided by her friends Erona Aliu coached for the two hours and in the end gave all the attendees an enjoyable experience. In the end a lot of the girls who showed up ended up coming back for more classes. We hope that they keep on this journey of self improvement.
