Mach-25 Progress Incoming!

Let’s take a look at what our High Powered Rocketry Team has been up to over the past while! With the rocket design now finalized for the Mach 25 competition in Scotland this July, the team has moved into UL's lab space to construct and complete the rocket's carbon fiber and fiber glass air frame components.

From carbon fiber layering to resin application and oven curing, the tests are going as expected ?. Composites Manufacturing has been completed on the main air frame and fins with some minor composite layup left to be completed once the fins are fully integrated into the rocket.

Take a look through to see some of the behind the scenes and enjoy the retro-style snapshots while you’re at it!
