UL Archery recently hosted our own IV event while also competing at the Archery Ireland Indoor Championships held at the Aras Preston Complex in Gormanston, Co. Meath. Over the course of two action-packed days, the team put in a tremendous effort setting up a hall equipped with over 40 targets—a true testament to the dedication of everyone involved. We had around 130 archers compete at our Intervarsity.

The intervarsity event drew an impressive crowd of skilled archers, including some of our own! Highlights from our club include;
Kenny Kristian Kosasih set a personal best with a score of 501, earning a blue pin.
New member Ben Hutchinson made a remarkable debut, scoring 452 in his first IV and earning white, black, and blue pins.
• Additional personal bests were achieved by Kalin Krumov (254), James McEntire (345), Brendan Ryan (283), and Heather Wilson (349).

As the Indoor League wraps up, the excitement continues with the UU finals scheduled for April 5th. Current standings include notable placements such as Mariam Gvenetadze in 3rd place in Recurve Female Beginner, Roko Strgar in 3rd place in Recurve Open Intermediate, and Eoin Timlin holding 4th place in Recurve Open Advanced.

Stay tuned for more updates as we head into the final showdown!
