Charity broadcast in aid of UNRWA (a Palestinian aid charity) from 9am-7pm Thursday February 29th. All members of both ULFM and Trinity FM are invited to take part. Happening in the ULFM studio. Donations accepted through Eventbrite.

ULFM are doing a trip to Rollerjam on Wednesday the 8th of November. We will meet at the stables bus stop at 6pm and travel together on the 310 to Rollerjam. There will be a social event afterwards.

ULFM are hosting a table quiz in the scholars club on Thursday the 5th of October. We will be taking tables of 4 for €5 a head so €20 all together per table.

This week we will be making stars as part of One Million Stars Ireland's initiative to raise awareness of domestic abuse. All stars made will be donated to the One Million Stars Project, which will be exhibited in the Hunts Musuem. Join us to participate in this amazing project! Our hangout is scheduled on Wedesday, 17th of November at: 18.00 - 21.00 This event is free, but pre-booking is required, as it allows us to take attendance in case contact tracing is needed. If you book and can't make it to a session, don't forget to cancel so someone else can take your place.

For this members meeting we’ll be bringing out all the radio equipment to let our members see what goes into running a station 

ULFM’s Halloween members meeting takes place on the 28th of October. We’ll be having a quiz and costume contest with prizes for the winners! We’ll also have pizza and refreshments on the night 

The second in a series of workshops where we teach our members how to record and edit their own audio, podcasts and radio shows at home. 

Join ULFM's President and Station Manager for a workshop on recording podcasts and streaming.

It will be held over Zoom and we'll be there to answer any questions afterwards.

We will be covering OBS and Audacity, both free programs you can download. Until we get back into the studio we will be mainly podcasting with some opportunity to livestream to our Facebook.

ULFM Ten

ULFM, the university radio station at the University of Limerick are celebrating 10 years on air this September. 

From the 20th to the 24th, the student-led station, located in the Student Life Centre will be broadcasting a week of online shows to reminisce on its history and various successes throughout the years. 

A number of alumni will be returning for one off special programmes. Discussions such as the importance of student media and student related issues will also be a theme for the event.

Celebrations will kick off at 10am Monday the 20th with a full day of broadcasting in store followed by Tuesday’s lineup of shows from 10am to 4pm on ULFM’s history and a look down through the years with founding members, alumni, current and former Union officers. 

Wednesday the 22nd will play host to an intervarsity event in which student radio stations from across the country will collaborate with ULFM for a day of fundraising shows in aid of local charity, Doras Luimni. 

A 12 hour broadcast will take over the airwaves from 9am to 9pm on Thursday the 23rd in aid of Limerick’s Gateway to Education with shows from a number of clubs and societies and ULFM members. 

The celebrations will wrap up on Friday the 24th with one of ULFM’s famous Discord server quizzes.

The winners of Best Society at the 2021 UL Wolves Clubs and Societies Awards, ULFM is your one stop shop for all University of Limerick related news, media and events. 

Established in 2011 by the then ULSU Communications Officer, Kelly O’Brien, the station is run by a number of elected student volunteers who make up a committee divided into technical and administration teams.

On Thursday the 26th of November ULFM will be hosting an Instagram takeover on the ULGlobal account. We will be talking to committee members, showing our day to day and showing some of our history.

ULFM will be hosting their EGM in the SU Common Room on Monday. There will be loads of positions on the committee up for grabs so make sure to come ............ ALSO FREE PIZZA AT THIS EVENT !!!!!

IT Tralee's Bang FM are paying a visit to UL to take over the airwaves for an afternoon on ULFM, bringing their own brand of radio to UL for the first time ever! Tune in on ulfm.ie and feel free to call into SU3 to say hi, we might even make you go on-air for a minute!

Pop into SU Room 2 between 11am and 2pm on Tuesday April 10th to meet some of ULFM's lovely presenters and enjoy some hot beverages courtesy of Tea Appreciation Society! We'll be broadcasting live and having all sorts of chats. Do you have opinions that you want to share? Are you interested in getting involved with ULFM or Tea Soc? Or do you just fancy a free cuppa and a chance to meet new people? If your answer to any of those questions was yes, come along on Tuesday!

We'll be holding our EGM in SG15 tonight to elect new committee members for the coming year.
