We’d like to wish you all a blessed Ramadan and hope that your remaining assignments and assessments go well. We had a number of exciting events planned for the second half of the semester but as you know they were cancelled.
We hope that next semester will run a lot smoother inshaAllah. Speaking of next semester, if anyone is interested in joining the committee for AC20/21 or if you’d just like to learn a little more about the committee roles, get in touch.
Stay safe and we hope to see you all next year, InshaAllah.

Assalamu Alaikum,
As many of you know, there are plans to expand the prayer room.
We are more than happy to announce that construction began on August 19th. Construction is expected to take around 8 weeks to complete.
The Islamic Society has been campaigning for a new Prayer room for 3 years and it feels great that this much needed facility is finally under construction.
The new prayer room will be twice the size of the old prayer room, with a new, well segregated and more spacious area for everyone's comfort. New wudu facilities will also be installed, with women's wudu area separated from the men's.
Keep an eye out on our Facebook and Instagram pages for more updates.
