About Boxing Club

Want to get in shape, learn real skills, and push yourself? UL Boxing Club is the place to do it.

Whether you're brand new to boxing or have some experience, everyone trains together here. You’ll learn the fundamentals, build fitness, and improve fast — no pressure, just real progress. Beginners are always welcome, and you don’t need to know anything before stepping in.

Our training sessions cover everything: full-body circuits, core work, skipping, bag drills, and boxing drills. You’ll have access to gloves, pads, and guidance from our experienced coaches to guide you. If you want to spar or compete down the line, we’ll help you get there — but if you’re here just to train hard and stay sharp, that’s great too.

UL Boxing has a proud history of success at the Irish college championships, winning IATBA medals nearly every single years since its inception. Since 2012, the Club has amassed and impressive 20 Gold Medals and 28 Silver medals at the IATBA Championships. 

We train every Monday and Wednesday from 8:30–10:30 PM in the UL Sports Arena. Come along, bring a friend, and see what it’s all about — no experience needed, just a willingness to give it a go. Please ensure to sign up as a member before going to training.
